North Perth Westfield Elementary School is now accepting applications for the Local Level Emergency Educators.
Local Level Emergency Educators are not OCT qualified but individuals who have expressed an interest in working with students and present with an educational and/or work background that reasonably supports their use for coverage purposes in emergency situations.
The ideal candidate may possess the following;
- Previous experience working with children;
- Proven ability and willingness to support students with special needs;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment;
- Availability to accept assignments on a casual basis during the day and with short notice
If you are enrolled/accepted into a Bachelor of Education Program or attending a Teacher's College and working towards being registered with the Ontario College of Teachers, please apply as an Elementary Emergency Teacher Candidate or Secondary Emergency Teacher Candidate.

Successful candidates will be required to provide the Board with an original current satisfactory Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector for employment.
